The Difference Between A $150 Detail And A $400 Detail Is Skill And Systems
Trained operators work faster, damage nothing, earn better reviews, and charge premium prices. This is the highest-ROI investment in your entire setup.
What Skilled Operators Earn Vs. Untrained Starters
Training isn't a cost — it's the fastest way to increase your revenue per job and per hour from the very first week.
How A 5-Star Operator Gets Built
Technique and workflow feed three operating systems running in parallel — converging into one consistently 5-star operator.
Training Gaps That Damage Businesses Fast
These are the skill and system failures we see most often in self-taught operators in their first year.
Skipping Paint Decontamination
Washing over bonded contamination causes swirl marks and scratches — even with the best technique. Customers notice, complaints follow, and reputation damage compounds quickly.
No Pre-Service Inspection
Starting a detail without documenting existing damage means any pre-existing scratch becomes your liability. This creates constant disputes, refunds, and stress.
Underpricing From Lack Of Confidence
Operators who aren't confident in their skill chronically underprice — then overwork themselves to hit revenue targets. Training builds the confidence that supports premium pricing.
No Systems For Scaling
Owner-operators who learn on the job create personal, undocumented workflows. When they try to hire, there's nothing to hand over — every new team member starts from zero.

Training & Operations FAQ
Do I need prior detailing experience?
No. Our training programs start from fundamentals and progress through to professional-level technique. We've trained complete beginners who went on to build successful multi-van operations. What matters most is commitment to learning the process correctly — not prior experience.
Is training in-person or remote?
We offer both. In-person intensives are available for hands-on technique training — particularly for paint correction and ceramic coatings where feel and judgment are critical. Remote training covers business operations, pricing, customer communication, and system setup. Most clients use a combination of both.
What are SOPs and why do I need them?
Standard Operating Procedures are step-by-step documented workflows for every service you offer — exterior wash, interior detail, paint correction, and so on. They ensure consistent quality across every job, make it easy to onboard staff, and protect you legally by demonstrating professional process.
Can you train my employees, not just me?
Yes. We offer team training programs for operators who are hiring from the start, or who need to onboard new staff as they scale. We also provide the onboarding documentation that allows you to train future hires yourself without needing to bring us back every time.
